Vacancy for Temporary Alumni Outreach Program Coordinator in Baku, Azerbaijan
The U.S. Embassy in Baku is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Temporary Alumni Outreach Program Coordinator in the Public Affairs Section.
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION
Under the supervision of the PAO and CAO, and in consultation with the ECA alumni coordinator in Washington, the temporary alumni outreach program coordinator is responsible for increasing involvement of alumni and mission contacts in areas where they can promote USG interests in Azerbaijan. The incumbent works toward this end by developing and implementing an alumni outreach strategy; organizing events and programs for countrywide alumni audiences; integrating alumni into mission programs; preparing and disseminating news of general interest, maintaining an alumni database, on-line alumni communities, administering the annual Democracy Outreach Alumni Grants Program.

1. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, humanities, hard sciences, education, architecture, history, political or social sciences, international relations, music, theater is required. Prior study in the United States is required.
2. EXPERIENCE: : 1 year education or exchange program experience in an international organization is required.
3. LANGUAGE: Level IV (fluent) speaking/reading/writing English and Azerbaijani is required.
