Summer Academy in Berlin

Summer Academy in Berlin

What is a German cultural heritage? Is this cultural heritage still present in Central, Eastern or South Eastern Europe, due to the history of the settlement history? Is it more than monument preservation and minority associations? Does the German language also belong to it? How is it with the German cultural heritage there online?

In the heart of Berlin, the participants expect a wide-ranging program of introductory and specialized lectures on the cultural heritage in Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe, including monument conservation and museum work. A writing workshop, a film evening and a book presentation with subsequent discussion are also planned. Deutsche Gesellschaft e. V. also offers the participating students a platform to present their topic and to exchange their ideas intensively and inspiringly. The summer academy will take place from 20 to 26 August, 2017.
