Call for Applications, Online Education Camp 2017 in Romania
Digital Communication Network is an international association connecting professionals of the digital age from a variety of backgrounds, in order to generate ideas, tools, and products for media outlets, civil society organizations, businesses, and public authorities. DigiComNet organizes a camp on Online Education asking participants to design innovative and attractive methods of teaching various modules of Digital Communication online combining with hiking experience and sightseeing of beautiful areas of Romanian mountains – Poiana Brasov.

- Video Blogging (communication, video editing)
Poiana Brașov (Romanian pronunciation: [poˈjana braˈʃov]) is a neighborhood of Brasov and one of the most popular Romanianski resort. It’s an important tourist centre preferred by many tourists not only from Romania, but also from Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland and other European states. After the 2010s modernization, the ski area has expanded from 50 hectares to 80 hectares and the slopes length was increased from 13.8 km to 23.9 km. most slopes now have snow cannons installed. In 2013, it hosted figure skating, alpine skiing and short track in the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival.
Participants between the ages of 18 and 30 years old from Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tajikistan, and Ukraine are eligible to apply.
Digital Communication Network will cover full accommodation, living, airplane and ground transportation costs.
Selected participants will form teams, work on their conjoint project consulting with the mentors, and prepare for the contest. Next, they will present their work to jury that will reveal the winner. After developing the concept of the project successfully, the winning team will get initial funds (up to $10,000) from DigiComNet to implement their project which will be translated into various languages to spread the digital communication knowledge online.
