We are seeking a Russian-speaking individual with strong regional and peacebuilding expertise to lead our work in the context of the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict. The postholder will join a team currently of three, supporting our long-term peacebuilding work in the South Caucasus.
The postholder will be responsible for strategic and operational planning of the programme’s work within the framework of a grant under the UK government’s Conflict Stability and Security Fund, setting an annual budget and raising funds to support the development of the programme. They will lead on and oversee the successful delivery of a wide range of activities, and will contribute to organisational development through learning and practice. The post will require a good understanding of peace processes and experience of management and working in partnership. We are seeking an individual able to work as part of a team as well as independently, and prepared to undertake frequent travel to the region and elsewhere. The postholder will play a key role in partner support, donor liaison and managing the programme’s policy engagement, and will act as a lead representative for the programme and its work.
