Senior Business Analyst – (1700005N)

Description

  • Project Management support:
  • Follow-up and regular reporting of progress and ensuring deliverables is completed on time. Timely identification of risks and issues and escalate where relevant
  • Update and maintain the overall project plan, including resources usage and key de-pendencies
  • Drafting Steering Committee, Project Management Team and Working Groups presentations, and minutes, as requested
  • Operational Project Management and assistance to the institutions project Manager, ad-hoc meetings with corresponding follow-up of decisions and action points
  • IT work-packages coordination:
  • Follow-up and regular reporting of progress and coordinate with the relevant IT stakeholders to ensure deliverables is completed on time. Timely identification of risks and issues and escalate where relevant
  • Testing co-ordination:
  • Support work-packages owners in terms of creation of test scripts
  • Management of testing cycles, including but not restricted to: preparation of the test-ing phase, ensuring appropriate approvals have been collected; test plan and report-ing on test results
  • Follow-up with the relevant stakeholders (incl. FIS) on issues identified during the dif-ferent cycles.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration, Computer science or related discipline
  • At least 4 years of practical business experience and at least 2 year of technical (business analy-sis) experience
  • Demonstrated practical business experience (under-standing on how the business operates, and how the repo business works) and technical (business analy-sis) experience
  • Proven record in delivering one or several financial package systems (e.g. vendor developed so-lution / off-shelf)
  • Proven experience in test coordination, including test reporting and follow-up
  • Experience in managing multicultural teams and in working in a team-oriented collaborative envi-ronment
  • Fluency in English and French, any other European language would be a plus
  • Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels in a multicultural environment
  • Ability to adapt rapidly and respond to changes in environment and priorities, and work under pressure
  • Experience in test coordination including test report-ing and follow up.
  • Experience in working in the financial sector.
